Public Health Service Awards InfoReliance Systems Development Contract to Automate the Call to Active Duty

Fairfax, Virginia — September 22, 2006 — InfoReliance Corporation, a leading Northern Virginia information technology firm, announced today that the Department of Health and Human Services, Public Health Service, has selected InfoReliance Corporation to design and implement an information system that electronically captures Commissioned Officer applications and routes them through the recruiting and accession process to the point of calling an officer to active-duty.

The mission of the Public Health Service’s Commissioned Corps is to protect and improve the nation’s health. As one of the seven uniformed services of the United States, the Commissioned Corps has a specialized career system that is designed to attract, develop, and retain health professionals who are assigned to federal, state, local, or even international agencies to carry out their mission. The Commissioned Corps is ready to implement the first phase of the electronic Call to Active Duty (eCAD) system. They have chosen InfoReliance to build the core functionality that will let them automate their current paper-based process.

InfoReliance’s core business is business process automation. The eCAD solution leverages IRCore, a set of proven components that provide tremendous out-of-the-box functionality that is specifically designed to meet not only the federal government’s requirements but also complex information-assurance standards. IRCore lets InfoReliance develop data-entry forms in a fraction of the time that programming from scratch would take. IRCore also frees InfoReliance’s developers from the constraints imposed by commercial form-building tools that try to be all things to all people.

”We are excited about helping the Commissioned Corps improve the performance of the call-to-duty process.” said Marshall Thames, InfoReliance Vice President. “Human capital and manpower management is the cornerstone of our consulting business practices. We stand ready to support the Public Health Service and look forward to a successful partnership.”
